There are no more than a handful of game sequels that, when released, induce an epic stir through the hearts of gamers everywhere. Disc, Mario (anything), Metroid, Metal Outfit; and, of course, the game series that brings forth Jack Thompson like a Black hole & Dragons Epic Summon, Eminent Theft Auto. Gamers have been waiting like, for want of a better image, junkies for their latest fix of the series. I count up myself amongst those who checked Gamestop every day to see if the release beau had change, those who reserved the game as straight away as it became available to reserve, and of course the ones who dispute in line at Midnight of the release day to get their energetic little hands on the plastic covered disk of goodness.
After waiting in trade for an hour, I took my fix home and mainlined it into the CD-Rom proceed of my Xbox 360. My hands twitched as it rolling in it and then disaster struck. I started playing and realized that this wasn’t prospering to be the Grand Theft Auto that I was used to. Most of the calm have been either for comedic effect or whiny, which I surely don’t find to be something I appreciate in a criminal celebrity.
